I’m Franchon and I am also LALANATIVE. If you are here, you probably know what LALANATIVE is all about. If you have no idea who I am, what this is, or why you should care, that’s fine too. Originally launched in 2008, LALANATIVE.COM was a place I wrote often and candidly. Short stories. Long stories. Fiction and truth. Detailed observations of what I find incredibly humorous, deeply moving, or profoundly tragic and unconscionable. I just love to write and that genetically implanted need has never faded over my lifetime. If you are a longtime follower of my writing, thank you so much. It’s been 15 long years since LALANATIVE has been redesigned, or updated. In 2008, when my original site was launched, it was a time when the world and our country was less terrifying and not split down the middle like the last brownie between two siblings. I was a much younger woman then, the care and safety of my then two small children was my primary brain thread. Now, I am older, wiser – but no less opinionated, or less attuned to life.

I don’t know exactly what will play out for my future writings here, but I do know that it is my most propellant desire and internal need and I must follow my own directions. Maybe I will finally leak out that novel that has poked me in the back since I was a teenager. Maybe I will plink out oddly composed poems. Maybe I will smear garish finger graffiti that crosses into vandalism territory for some, but Banksy-like appreciation for the truth of our shared humanities, for others.

I am very happy to be here again with a new look and feel to accessorize the more mature version of me. If you enjoy my observations via words too, then bring your eyeballs here. I will feed them to the best of my ability. I hope you like it spicy, because I do not make substitutions for sensitive palates.
